Digital camera Review: Awesome camera...You will NOT regret this purchase!

I had a hard time deciding between the SD600 and the SD630 but when it came down to it, I made the right choice.
Really, the only thing holding me back from the SD630 (at first) was the fact that it did not have a viewfinder. After a couple of outings with friends, I decided that a viewfinder really isn't needed. The larger screen on the SD630 is a great feature. You can see SO much detail in the picture and really decide if you like it or not before you decide to keep or delete. I purchased the SD600 for my Mom as a Christmas gift and she loves it just as much but she wanted the viewfinder!
The small size is a MAJOR plus with this camera. I basically just throw it in my purse and GO! It does not take up a lot of room and it is really light, so you don't even notice it's there.
AWESOME features! Some of the really fun features about this camera is the fact that you can single out a color in a picture. For instance, I took a picture of my friend Jason and just singled out the green (the color of his shirt), his shirt is green and the rest of the picture is black and white. REALLY color feature. You can also color swap. If you want someone with blue eyes to have green eyes, you can change that color in the picture. The features on this camera are VERY cool. One thing that you have to worry about is that you have to have a steady hand when in those two picture taking modes. For some reason, the pictures are not quite as clear and be fuzzy easier. It is ONLY in those two modes that happens. So, if you do not plan on getting all techie with the camera or using those modes A LOT, it shouldn't make a difference.
There really isn't too much that I can say that is negative about this camera. So far, it has worked amazing for me. I think I have a friend of mine convinced to go and get the same camera! Mostly because it is just a really great camera!
Canon is an excellent brand of camera...Get this camera! You will not regret it.

I just got the SD630 and I love it. I've had in the past other digital point and shoot cameras and this one has been the best so far. This camera focuses fast, shoots fast. One feature I really like is the continuos shooting. The big screen is awesome!. The quality of the pictures is pretty good. It has a lot of different features which makes it even more fun to use. I don't really mind not having the viewfinder. Overall the performance of this camere is great. Canon did a great job with this camera.Digital camera Review: Awesome pooint and shoot!!!!!

I love this camera so much why?
1. its a canon (great quality)
2.its macro mode is amazing almost dslr quality
3. its screen is huge 3 in. great to review photos
4.its just a fun camera with a lot of features but if you want a basic camera just turn it on auto it sets everything for you.
This is at great camera i recommentd this camera to anyone!!!!

Canon elphs are by far the best Cameras out there. Here are the reasons:
1) They are small and can fit in pockets, purses etc.
2) The picture quality is the best on any digital camera on the market.
The Canon elph 630 has a huge lcd display which is great for quick shots, you just need to take care of it so it doesn't get broken.
The battery also lasts a long time.
It also has a bunch of different modes, such as aquarium, night shot, outdoor, that helps you take really good pictures in all sorts of environments.
Overall I am extrememly pleased with this camera and the quality of the pictures.

Canon's digital elph is always good, I had SD110, SD200, and now SD630. Some people wonder about the 2.5 inch LCD screen. Just ask yourself "How often do you use the viewfinder when taking a photo with compact cameras?" If your answer is not often, Canon PowerShot SD630 is your best choice.
