I bought this for a friend for her birthday, and she was extremely happy with it. For the price, it's a very nice camera - it's really cool how, when you are viewing the pictures taken and rotate the camera, it actually rotates the picture as well. Definitely a worthhile buy. We owned a canon so when our daughter asked for a new camera for her birthday. We decided on the Canon PowerShot SD720 and let me tell u that she loves it! Pics are great. Not professional, but better than the other compacts I've used. I've had it for a while and it's still in great shape, even without using a case for it.
