I bought the product based on reviews already with Amazon. I am not disappointed. The set up is a breeze and the performance is good. There were some hitches in recognizing the letters in a smaller font. All in all, I am very happy with the integration with MS Outlook and the fact that I don't have to key in all the contact details laboriously myself. I am yet to use all the features, but I managed to load, edit and verify about 200 cards in about 3 hours time. Product does not work with the Mozilla Thunderbird email client. The support is terrible. No one from CardScan returns emails or voice mails. I can't even get an RMA so I can return the product. The AtYourService software does not work. I have high speed Internet access, and saving the contacts file to the network account fails repeatedly. If fact, it's never worked. The dialog box shows progress, and then for an unexplained reason, it fails for request timeout. Save your money and time.Digital camera Review: Cardscan review

I had no idea that what I was purchasing would be so advance. The scanner's
quality is excellent and it has been very reliable. The fact that it scans
your cards in color really is very good eye candy. For the price you will
get your money worth. The fact I can go online and store all my information
on their private web site, with a password is great as I travel allot. This
allows me to always have instant availability to all of my information. I
hope when you purchase this product it works for you, as it has for me.

Overall, this is a huge time-saver for us. My sales person uses it to manage his contacts, and he can now get rid of his boxes and boxes of business cards. The process is really easy and installation was a breeze, but the data collection isn't perfect - it requires a little bit of editing on most cards. However, given the alternatives, it's worth the little bit of time it takes.
