As a previous user of the regular Scala 700 (which gave up the ghost after 3 years), I decided to try this one because I thought it would be ideal to be able to carry it with me on the road, instead of using the bulky headset my IT guys gave me. But I've had lots of trouble getting the computer telephony systems (including Skype itself) to recognize the Cardo Scala as my microphone. It may be because I am using a Lenovo Thinkpad T60 with XP-SP3, or because of some other tehcnology change (this model Cardo Scala appears to be at least two years old).
So, it is working great (as expected) for the phone (a Cingular 8125), but not so well for the internet.
