Digital camera reviews of Case Logic CDP-200 200 Disc Capacity CD ProSleeve Pages (White)Digital camera Review: Caselogic CD Prosleeve Summary: 4 Stars
I use these to store CDs I don't use very much, such as backups. They fit very well in a standard zippered binder (if you make sure you get the larger ones, not the Walmart specials) or a 3 inch notebook binder. I wouldn't recommend them for something like audio CDs you use on a regular basis. The construction is OK, but I've had a couple of them tear when I put the CD in. Long story short, these sleeves are great or not so great, depending on what you plan to use them for.
Digital camera Review: Disappointing Summary: 3 Stars
Pros:
- They hold CDs.
- They fit in a 3 ring bindder
- Quality of the pages seems pretty good
Cons:
- Especially when new the pages are too tight. I think I actually scratched some of my disks putting them in/taking them out of these pages. It's of course much much tighter when you're using both sides of the page.
- Seeing as there is no gap between the edge of the page and the CDs, the pages are hard to turn and hard on the binding ring.
- Disks aren't very easy to remove, it would be nice if the hole extended from the middle all the way out instead.
For the price Case Logic is asking for these pages, I think they could have been much better. I've seen no-name generic pages before that I've actually liked better (if only I could remember where I found those). Sure, those generic pages seemed very "cheap", but at least they scored a 5/5 on the fundamentals!
Digital camera Review: Disappointing product from good company Summary: 1 Stars
I've liked other items from Case Logic. These pages don't do the job for me. As someone else pointed out, the pages when loaded on both sides contain the disc very tightly, making it hard to remove. I believe you could easily scratch a disc or at least get fingerprints on it trying to remove it because you have to yank on it. Also, if you look closely in the picture above you'll see how a section of each disc is exposed, making them vulnerable to dust and the elements. I'd prefer a container that had a flap covering the disc so that none of it is exposed. Finally, when there are a lot of pages in a binder, they become heavy and difficult to turn and I fear that mishaps could occur. All in all, these are disappointing.
Digital camera Review: Do the job Summary: 4 Stars
I bought these sleeves to store backup CDs and DVDs. They fit in D-ring binders (at least, the ones I have) without sticking out. My only complaint about them is that they open to the side, rather than opening upward. However, the disks seem snug inside and have no tendency to fall out. That all said, they are a good solution to storing a lot of disks in a small space.
Digital camera Review: Do the job! Summary: 5 Stars
These sheets work great for organizing CDs and DVDs. I would recommend at least a 3" D-Ring Binder if you are going to use all 200 slots.
