Digital camera reviews of Case Logic CDW264 Nylon 280-Disc CD/DVD WalletDigital camera Review: Awesome dvd storage Summary: 5 Stars
I use this for storing all my dvds i either burned or bought. It takes up way less space than all those individual cases!!
Digital camera Review: Basic and reliable Summary: 5 Stars
For dealing with massive quantities of archived optical media there is simply no better solution than a CD wallet. Another reviewer expressed remorse at buying this product because dirt had gotten into the slots and ground scratches into the media. I could see that happening, but I've never experienced it. Just make it a point to store media wallets upright on a shelf, off the dusty floor, away from the window and radiator/heater, and it should work fine. I prefer this model and brand of wallet because of its woven nylon exterior. Some models use faux-leather, which is really a nasty soft plastic that etches any other plastic it's in contact with for a period of time.
Digital camera Review: Bring back the three-ring binders! Summary: 1 Stars
Case Logic cases used to have 3-ring binders. When you wanted to remove a page of discs, you just popped it open and put it into another binder wherever you wanted. Now, with their ridiculous EZ-lock system (or whatever the name is that some bozo in marketing made up), if you want to move a page, you have to remove ALL THE PAGES THAT COME BEFORE IT! And these aren't holes in the pages, these are SLITS! It's made organizing my collection a miserable activity.
And why did they make this change? Because it's undoubtedly cheaper to make a binding system out of plastic than it is out of metal. And by boasting about the new system, they further insult our intelligence by pretending that it's more desirable and functional than their previous system. It's not. It's better than a case in which you can't remove the pages at all, but that's about it. Case Logic cases are otherwise well made, but this one flaw/change, especially after they'd gotten us used to the three-ring binders, is infuriating.
Digital camera Review: By far the best! Summary: 5 Stars
I currently have three of these cases, one slightly older, and I plan to purchase another. The "binder rings" are probably the best feature as compared to other higher end portable storage units. The only problem I had was CD-booklet storage as the sleeves are just wide enough to hold the CD edge to edge with very little expansion room for the booklet to fit; This does tend to hold the CD itself better so the trade is probably worth the difficulty. My older unit holds my CD-Rom discs and has been accessed quite frequently with no sign of wear and the zipper is fine. If you need portable, hideable mass storage for CD-media this unit is perfect.
Digital camera Review: CD Case Summary: 5 Stars
This I got for someone for Christmas gift.It was on their list and I was told they wanted something notebook like to store their CD's in. I showed it to someone else who knows what this person wanted and it's PERFECT! So I give product my recommendation if you are in need of a nice place to store lots of CD's. Very well made also and I think well worth the price.
