Digital camera Review: Does What It Says

This is a case that really does what it says--and not too much more. The case in strong enough that you can put it in a bag and not worry about something scratching, dinging or otherwise injuring your iPod.
I bought it because it's getting harder and harder to find cases and that fit 160 GB iPods and this one does that well. The soft, rubbery part that actually holds your iPod its inside the silver back piece of the case so there is something soft around your device in this hard case. There are also holes in the backs of both the white inlay and the silver back so your iPod won't overheat.
The inlay does just sit inside the back piece so if the front cover is off, it's very easy for the inlay (and your iPod) to fall out.
While the front/cover piece does have a little notch so that it sort of clicks in when it's all the way down (and won't just slide off), a major downside (I feel) is that it doesn't slide onto the back of the case. When you're using your iPod it would be nice to fit the cover along the back but it does not do that so you have to find somewhere to put it. It's inconvenient.
It is hard and sturdy though, with little fan vents in the back and the cover fits on securely. Charging port and headphone jack are accessible while using this case, but the 'hold' button is not.
