I actaully purcased this case for my 200mm lense- it is too latge too bulky.
- not convenient and actually the lens did not fit securely-I would not recommend this product.

It makes a lot of sense to protect your lens by spending a few extra dollars buying a UV filter and lens case. This is a well designed case with filter holder, nice amount of padding, extra straps for ease of carrying with/without camera bag. Best of all, the price is right. Plenty of space for moderate sized lens. slight water protection, easy to clean/wipe-off. Unlike other draw-string bags, this zipper provides full top protection. These cases are well made and durable. There are a lot of attachment options to piggyback them onto other bags, clothing, etc. The problem with this bag is it's too big. The diameter is good, but the length is outlandish. A little longer and it would be perfect for a 1 liter bottle of pop. I also have the smaller size one which is good for the 18-55mm ish size lenses, but too small for 18-200/70-300 type size, and this one is too big.Digital camera Review: Well designed, large lens bag

My first impressionwas that this case was bigger than I expected, that being said I've used it alot now and like it. It holds my Nikon 180mm 2.8 w/ room enough on top for a SB-400 flash. The top filter holder will w/ some effort fit my 62mm Polarizer so I'm sure anything similar or smaller would be fine too.
The case is very well padded and I hook it to the bandolier strap of my BLACKRAPID RS-1 Camera Sling Strap behind the camera for a super light 2 lens setup (on on camera, one in the case.
I dock it a star b/c the loop strap at the top as shown in the product image is not present on my case.
