a lot of people would probably want to compare this camera to the coolpix, but this is so much better. i love this camera. it starts up in less than 2 seconds and you can take about a pic a second so its great for events... its super responsive to button presses. there is no delay and switching between modes is instantaneous. the flash charges almost instantaneously too. best shot is the bomb. i wish i could throw out modes though. some of them are utterly useless and fill up the screen. flower mode is great for close-ups. i wish there was a "macro" mode so i didn't have to go to "flower" mode. it also looks awesome. they even paid attention to the way the battery cover locks in place. this camera is perfect in almost every way except for.... battery life. yes you will have to charge it every night if you do a lot of movie-taking, which is primarily what i bought this camera for. the movies are pretty decent quality. very sharp, and suitable for youtube. just not very big... go with the black one or the red one and you won't be disappointed. best $214 i ever spent on a camera.Digital camera Review: I freakin love this camera

So I didn't think it was possible for me to love a camera more than the 7mp Casio Exilim I bought for myself a couple of years ago. After dutiful service, I was faced with a dilemma: have the camera dismantled to get the dirt out from behind the lens, or get a new camera. Eventually, I was given this (EX-S10) as a gift from my fiancée; problem solved.
This camera has been the best I have ever had, hands down; I took it to Ireland and all over hell's half acre between then and now. Great battery life, great picture quality; it's even very durable (considering I dropped it on a hard surface once). And I do really love the instant record button, it's extremely handy. Very sleek and thin, lots of great features; I just can't say enough good things about this camera. I'm a loyal fan.

This camera is great for anyone, but especially a guy who doesn't want to lug around a bulky/clunky camera in his pockets like myself. I recently went to Vegas for my birthday and didn't take any pictures to remember the trip because my camera (at the time) was to bulky. I was so mad that I have no memories from my trip I researched the most compact camera on the market, and the Casio Exilim EX-S10 kept popping up. I went to my local Wal-Mart and it was $199, didnt buy it, came home and found it on Amazon for $165!! Bought it immediately and in 5 days it was in my hands! Great camera, great picture quality, and even great video quality. I bring it everywhere! The only thing I've noticed that is a little bothersome is the hard/black/rubber-type material lining the camera occasionally shows fingerprints and smugges.Digital camera Review: Love it!!!

I've had my camera almost a month, use it about 3 or 4 times a week and TOTALLY love it!!! I previously owned a GE-A735 and a Samsung S500 digital camera which were ok but this Casio Exilim tops them both! I've never had a camera with a Lithium Ion battery so it's sooooo much more convenient and I will never go back to the cameras that use throw away batteries again. I've only briefly played with the features on the camera but what I like the most is that it works great in low light. When I first got the camera I played around with it, taking a picture in a pitch black room and then taking a picture after turning the light on in the same room and it was exactly the same lighting! I just love it.
