This camera has longer battery life compared to other point and shoot camera. I don't need to charge the battery everytime I want to go out. I use flash several times, yet the battery is still full.Image quality is good enough. It is a point-and-shoot camera after all.
Overall, I'm pretty satisfied with Casio and it is my first time using it. I've had this camera for 6 months now.

This is a great camera for anyone who wants to take great, high resolution pictures, but doesn't want to have to fuss with a lot camera controls to do it. It does give you lots of control if you want it, but it takes great pictures using the auto setting. It also has great zoom capabilities -- 4x optical/4x digital -- so the resolution is great. Finally, I bought it so I wouldn't have to lug my camcorder on vacation. This little guy takes great video on the fly. The video output is in *.mov format, which can be viewed with Quicktime or imported directly into iTunes. You can also use any video editing software to import the video and make movies. It's a small camera, so can fit in a shirt pocket, but personally it's a little big for me to put in my pants pocket.Digital camera Review: Loved it, til it broke...

I loved my camera. I loved the different modes and all of the options. It took fantastic pictures even in low lighting. One feature I really liked was how you could zoom while making a movie, not many cameras do this. I, too, spent a lot of time researching before I purchased this camera. I had it for just over a year before I had the same lens problem. In addition, there is this tiny little gray piece of plastic that holds the battery in. Every time I changed the battery, it would fall out (smaller than a baby fingernail) and I'd be crawling on the floor to find it. When I lost it and contacted casio to send me a new piece I was told I'd have to send in my camera and have the whole battery compartment replaced. What? This piece was removable since the day I purchased it, but instead of mailing me a cheap piece of plastic, I have to pay a ridiculous amount of money? Well, bottom line, the camera takes great pictures and movies and is easy to use, but is not reliable.
