Since I am studying abroad next semester, I wanted a quality camera that was compact in size so I could carry it anywhere. I also wanted one I could afford on a student budget. This camera is perfect for me. I love all the picture modes it offers in an easy to use menu, and the anti-shake setting. I bought this camera when my last digital camera stopped working. I read all the reviews I could find and decided it was the right choice for me. I have had it about a year and use it very often. I keep it in my purse at all times, to catch those great moments. I'm a new Mom. :)

This camera is tiny enough to fit in my purse but pwerful enough tot ake perfect pictures in any circumstance. I love how easy it is to use the best shot feature to automatically change the camera settings based on what sort of picture you are taking. I had the 5 mp version for a couple of years & it took awesome pictures. However, the lens got jammed. I sent it to Casio and they wanted to charge a flat $129 to repair!!! The camera seems to work fine but the printed information seems a throwback to the days when asian manufacturers did not have a good command of the english language. In reading the printed inserts and in reviewing the information on the cd the language is very disjointed and unclear. It makes it difficult to understand all the capabilities of the camera.
