Digital camera Review: 1.25" accessory kit

I purchased this when I bought my telescope ( 130MM reflector ). Seemed like a reasonable set to start out with. I have been out a few times and used the lenses and filters some. Mostly I use the 27mm lens. It seems to give a brighter image than the 25mm that came with the telescope. The optics seem better / cleaner. My preference is a wide field of view over high power. In a small scope things get darker pretty quick as the power goes up. I do use some of the smaller lenses as well and it is nice to have an assortment to choose from.
The colored lenses work ok. Mostly they require some experimentation to see what works best for what object. The results are mixed and I expect to continue to experiment on different objects. The moon filter helps, but I plan on adding a variable polarizing filter to cut out more light. It would have been nice if it came with a UHC filter.
If you are starting out this is a nice set to start with. Glad I got it and would purchase it again. The case is nice and keeps things organized. This is a good set for learning what you like and need, for the viewing you would like to do. The quality of the product seems pretty good for the price.
