This mount is fantastic. Installation is easy with the included hardware. I located my wall stubs and then was able to make sure the mount was level with the included bubble level and my own level. After we installed the mount, we did a few test by pulling up and down on the mount and it wouldn't move, I know my 50" Samsung Plasma is not going to fall ever. Once we got the TV up on the mount, we had to make some adjustments. The bracket that connects to the TV will slide up and down, you need to ensure that they are aligned or the TV will not be level on the mount and look odd. After some adjustments and tightening on the safety screw on the TV brackets, the TV looks great floating on the wall. I decided it was best to move the power up behind the mount and run the HDMI cable behind the wall. Extra work but this produces a clean look. The articulating arms are bit stiff, but I find that to be a position feature. I ordered this mount for a summer home we are remodeling. When it arrived I noticed right away that the TV mounting bracket was not square with the wall bracket. Since I had read that other purchasers had this same problem I called Cheetah to discuss the issue and to make certain they would refund my money if the mount did not perform properly once it was installed to compensate for the out-of-level condition. I also wanted assurances that they would extend their warranty since my contractor was 4 weeks behind and we would not be installing the TV right away.
I was dealing with Adam in their customer service department. Adam could tell that I was apprehensive about the manufacturing flaw in the mount. He quickly informed me that they had a newer generation of the mount that allowed for rotational adjustment of the TV mounting plate and strongly suggested that I exchange the mount for the newer version. I agreed, he sent me a return label and in two days I had the new mount.
The new mount is very similar to the first one - a little lighter, has a built in level plus a separate level and includes every possible piece of hardware for attaching the mount to a wall with 16" studs. I believe the quality to be first rate.
Last week I installed the mount and hung my 42" Vizio LCD TV. It worked perfectly. When I first looked at the mount I thought it might be overkill for my 37 lb. TV, but when you get the TV 20 inches or more from the wall you really need the strength to keep everything steady and sturdy. I would not recommend skimping on size.
Cheetah has surpassed my expectations - especially when you consider the mount was $200 less than Sanus and Omni. I highly recommend this company and in particular their Customer Service person Adam.

Quite heavy and well made. The built in level is quite helpful in getting this installed. The hardest part of the install was finding the studs and centering but once found, it's then a breeze. A high quality mount for a very reasonable price. Easy to install despite the instructions which are, quite honestly, a waste of paper. Plenty of hardware included for just about any type of installation you may encounter, including concrete. The hardware is packaged in separate sleeves and each sleeve is lettered. The downside - those letters don't match up to the aforementioned instruction sheet. Anyway, with just a minimal amount of ability this is quite simple to install and I was able to do it alone, including the final step of attaching of the 46" LED TV once the mount was on the wall. I'd recommend two people, however, to do that final step. Once the mount was attached to the studs the mount supported even my weight; no small feat, indeed!
