This is a very bright green laser pointer. I use it for business presentations mostly, and it is definitely not in the same league as the dim red laser pointers that most use. One person even commented that it is almost too bright for presentations. If there is any dust, smoke or vaport in the air, you are able to see the full beam - kind of like a light saber. :)Digital camera Review: goes through batteries fast

It was a gift for someone and I've been told it goes through batteries in about a minute or so. Maybe a change in batteries will help, don't know.
