This phone is quite awesome, is sad that Linksys stop making it anymore, This little phone not just is DECT, cordlessly covers over hundreds of feet. This phone can also supports landline just in case you're not Skype ready yet, but overall one thing I dislike about this phone is there's no volume control although the sound quality is excellent. I was lucky that I got this phone for $107, although now is over $240 everywhere. So does many other Skype phones as well... So I would recommend this phone if the price is still low, but now, I would rather recommend the Phillips Skype phone...Digital camera Review: Awesome Telecommunication Device

I was actually afraid to buy this phone thinking it would not work to my standards. I was very wrong. Phone is easy to set up and use. It works beautifully with the Skype program. I am very pleased with it and I'm glad that I made the purchase. It is very clear when in use. You can hear a pin drop on the other side of the line. I've really been impressed with this phone. I was using a good quality headset with skype but wanted to break away from having the computer on all the time. I figure this phone will pay for itself in two ways -- first, the expense of running a computer either 24/7 or even just 12 hours a day just to have skype, with my computer setup costs about 15 bucks a month. The second is that I'm using unlimited skype out for us / canada and also a skypein number for my business line and the total for both is about 90 bucks a year, so very inexpensive. The best news is that this phone is easy to use, doesn't require a computer to be on to access skype, has really good quality fidelity and worked right out of the box. I don't know where to start. I've had VOIP for 3 years now (with Vonage, then Lingo) and have gotten tired lately of paying the monthly suscriptions. I ordered this product, signed up for skype in & out, and got it up and running in 5 minutes.
It sits behind my firewall without any special config.
Great voice quality too.
