Purchased two switches, one for home, one for Church. Needed more connections at both locations.
Have been using the switch for 1 month.
Plugged router into switch, turned on swithch, plugged ether lines into switch and watched each device come up with correct Mbps speed and all are communicating wonderfully. No hassle, nothing hard to do, working flawlessly so far and I expect that to continue.
If you have gigabit available, you might look at a switch that does Gigabit rather than only 10/100.

While I miss the excuse to upgrade all my computers, it wouldn't have done any good anyway since the network bottleneck was my old ethernet hub and all computers connected to it had much faster NIC cards by now. Seriously, it has taken me from struggling to transfer big files to effortlessly watching movies from a different room.
While I'm not officially a business installation, I think my wife and sons probably rack up more bandwidth than many. The cost was great, install no more than plug-and-play in our mixed mac/linux/windoze family workgroup. I enthusiastically recommend the product to anyone who might need more than four boxes sharing files or an Internet portal. Really, we often have four heavy simultaneous users as well as VOIP phone service sharing one skinny cable connection.
