I have been studying the specification for these second-generation Powerline Networking devices for at least a couple of years now, waiting eagerly for them to become widely available, so it was with some pleasure that I finally saw the product on Amazon. I received my kit -- a pair of the devices -- and put them to use right away. The instructions were clear, I followed them easily, and shortly had one in a power outlet behind my ReplayTV DVR, and the other in a power outlet behind my PC, a couple of rooms away. Running DVArchive in my PC enables me very quickly to archive shows from my DVR with much greater reliability than I had experienced with an Ethernet to IEEE 802.11b bridge, my earlier connection between the two. The connection has been stable since I installed the units; I anticipate one of these will be the means I use to extend my network the next time I need to do that.Digital camera Review: It works perfectly

I read all 70 reviews before I purchased the PLK200. There are really only 2 reviews. It either works perfectly, or not at all. Mine worked perfectly- set up time 1 minute. It is still working weeks later. I saved the shipping box in case I was in the other group- if it didn't work at all. Luckily, I'm not in that group.
I LOVE this thing. I get cable modem high speed internet- works great. Kicks butt compared to wireless router, and very reliable. The 2 units are on different circuit breakers on opposite ends of house.
My Advise: buy it. Save the box.

The product worked just as promised right out of the box. I've tossed my erratic wireless connection and couldn't be more pleased. I have my downstairs computer and DirecTv internet connection on the network and every thing works great with excellent speed.

Works great! Stable connection. I connect a Linux MythTV HTPC to my network via these devices. I have not experimented with different power outlets to find the max speed. I am using this device with Direct tv HD DVR for on-demand programing and it works great. I was concerned about the HD transfers but it's not a problem.
