Digital camera reviews of Cisco-Linksys WET54G Wireless-G Ethernet BridgeDigital camera Review: Linksys Bridge WET54G Summary: 5 Stars
I purchased this bridge because I had previously purchased the LG Blu-ray player with Netflix streaming. I didn't realize the Blu-ray had to be physically linked to my router or modem to work.
Long story short, this did the trick, but not without the wonderful support person from Linksys. I'm not the most highly technical person when it comes to networking, even though I spent years in an IT department. I tried to setup the router without help but I made a couple of mistakes and didn't know how to correct them. I tried running the setup again, but it wouldn't let me change some of the crucial settings. I contacted Linksys through their live chat. I got right on with a tech person and we had the settings corrected and the bridge up and running in about 45 minutes. I've always had great support from Linksys in the past and this was exceptional service. And best of all, now my Blu-ray player can work with Netflix streaming and I have a stronger wireless signal when my computer is downstairs near the bridge.
Digital camera Review: Linksys WET54G Bridge Summary: 3 Stars
I received the product quickly from Amazon quickly and in good shape. However, the bridge was very difficult to set up. In fact it required Linksys customer service and lots of time to set up. The only Linksys product I have had trouble with.

This product shipped right away and was received within a couple of days. It was easy to set up and use. I would recommend this to anyone that wants to use a wireless bridge instead of running a line to their game system or Directv receiver box (for On-Demand-Movies).
Digital camera Review: Linksys WET54g WiFi ethernet bridge Summary: 4 Stars
I've read the bad reviews this product has gotten and can not comment on performance with video streams. I use it with low-bandwith applications and it works reasonably well. So, I will likely buy another. I have tried other vendor's products and keep going back to this model, even though it is expensive relative to the competition because (1) I can administer and monitor it from the Access Point side of the wireless LAN - ie. I don't have to be physically plugged into it (2) it hasn't given me any trouble with alternative external antenna configurations; BUT, all 3 units I've purchased require periodic power cycle - ie. I have to unplug, and replug them in (or use a timer) because performance degrades over time, or just plain stops; when reset daily using a timer, I have no problems.

Entire process form order to delivery was quick and efficient. Net work bridge was easy to install and configure and is working well.
