Digital camera reviews of Cisco-Linksys WET54G Wireless-G Ethernet BridgeDigital camera Review: Does Its Job Summary: 4 Stars
I've had this plugged into a switch/hub for about a month to hook a PS3 and a TiVo into my WPA2 network. It's never dropped a download or any other issues. Would recommend.
Digital camera Review: Doesn't work with X-box live Summary: 1 Stars
I purchased this for the sole purpose of connecting my X-box. The setup was a breeze, but the connection is not strong enough for x-box live game play.
Digital camera Review: Doesn't work, period. Summary: 2 Stars
I purchased this ethernet bridge and spent about a week trying to get it to function to no avail. I tried to find solutions to get the unit to work by going to the Linksys site as well as researching solutions online, and finally found that Amazon had sent me a model with older firmware. Evidently, the newer firmware resolves many problems. I returned it to Amazon for a refund. However, since there was nothing wrong with the unit other than it having old firmware, I only received a partial refund.
Buyer Beware! Check the firmware version BEFORE you buy!
Why 2 stars? Linksys products are generally good and work well. But they must be shipping their old stock out to vendors to get rid of it.
Digital camera Review: Don't waste your time... Summary: 1 Stars
After I returned the first WET54G I ordered, I did some internet searches on the constant reboot issue I was having. It seems this is a common problem. I'm returning the second device and getting my $84 back as it's just not worth my time to fight with it anymore. Save yourself time and a headache and buy something else.
Digital camera Review: Easy Connection and Set-up Summary: 5 Stars
Link quality connecting to a Linksys WRT300N always at 100 percent. One of the best Wireless Bridge's designed for a home system. Getting to old to run cables from one end of the house to other. Nice alternate.
