The product arrived May 4th because seller use an incorrect address, He corrected the address after sending me a message indicating I provided a wrong address and more.
Finally the product arrived late, packed in a US postal soft paper bag, inside a crashed box without any shipping protection, no manuals all scratched and dirty, In addition to all this, the item does not work and I will claim the A to Z Amazon Warranty because the seller stop comunicating with me in regards to my claim. Bad experience with this particular seller.

Read the other review about dropped Internet connection and I will add that I have sat and watched the signal fade out with 2 different speed checkers. I have had more trouble with signal being clamped, LOST ALTOGETHER and my cable company had been here close to 20 times in 8 months and they nor myself can find anything other than the 600N as the cause so here is the answer!@#@
IN THE PAST I HAD GOOD LUCK WITH NETGEAR SO I BOUGHT REFURBISHED NETGEAR EXTENDED RANGE "N" ROUTER BECAUSE
I WAS NOT SURE IF THE 600N WAS THE PROBLEM AND DID NOT WANT TO HAVE PAID A BUNCH FOR ANOTHER THAT WOULD FAIL!
YES, YOU GUESSED IT THE NETGEAR FIRED UP i RECONFIGURED MY 3 DESKTOP COMPUTERS AND MY 2 NOTEBOOKS AND WE HAVE NOT HAD ANY PROBLEMS SINCE My only problem is the Netgear does not have a external port for a hard drive but the lack of crap and aggravations that the Linksys WRT600N caused is very wonderful to be DONE WITH LINK_STINKING_SYS and for you know it all's yes I upgraded and flashed the piece of junk. Support is next to none!
Digital camera Review: Becareful buying a used one without factory or extended warranty Summary: 4 Stars
I had to buy two used WRT600N routers before I found one that appears to be working correctly.
What I learned thru all of this was that if the router is out-of-factory warranty and in need of repair, you probably won't find anyone to repair it; so it will end up as a "paperweight."
Here's why:
1. The Linksys company will not provide or sell any repair manuals, including schematic diagrams; and
2. The Linksys company will not repair any out-of-warranty routers for a fee.
What choice should the consumer have when they buy a Linksys computer accessory and it goes out-of-warranty?
When shopping for a used router, obtain the router's serial number and version; then telephone Linksys customer service and after you provide them with that information, they will advise you with two interesting pieces of information:
1. The date the router was originally sold and then name of the dealer it was sold by; and
2. The amount of factory warranty remaining on the router.
So, if you're buying a used Linksys WRT600N router, be careful....you could end up being hurt....have you ever had a heavy paperweight fall on you toes? :-)
Digital camera Review: Best Router I've used. Summary: 5 Stars
This router is great assuming you configure it right and use it with the right equipment. I configured the router so that my good laptop is on the 5ghz network (using the Linksys WPC600N wireless adapter) and all other wireless equipment using b,g or 2.4ghz-N connect to the 2.4ghz wireless network. Yes, your wireless computers will be connecting to two different wireless networks but as long as they're in the same workgroup they can still see each other. Its true, out of the box the 5ghz network is much weaker than the 2.4, but (after reading the manual) I changed the radio band from Auto to the Wide-40mhz channel (for the 5ghz network only, leaving the 2.4ghz wireless setting to auto) I'm now getting a link speed of 135-182mps! That's what this router is designed for; use one wireless band for high speed N-only and the other band for all of your mixed devices. Again, I'm using this with the wireless adapter that its designed to work with, its definitely worth the money to get the wpc600n for at least one of your laptops that way you can connect to the 5ghz N-band, otherwise your probably better off with the wrt350n.
Digital camera Review: Best of both worlds Summary: 5 Stars
This router allow me to run the wireless N and the older G protocols at the same time. The setup was pretty easy, although the setup CD did not run properly. One call to the Linksys help line got things working quickly. Now I can use the faster, more secure N system with my new laptop but still allow my older equipment to connect with the older protocol. No problems with any of the equipment, easy setup. Good value.
