I ordered this for a laptop without internal wireless modem. It was very easy to install running Windows XP and connected flawlessly with the Wireless Router. The Router is on the second floor in a closet and the connection is at least "good" all over the house (2,300 sq feet, two stories). As one other reviewer wrote it is a bit longer than I expected and makes handling the computer a bit awkward with the USB ports in the back.Digital camera Review: Evrything was just PERFECT with this seller
