Digital camera Review: Awesome Camera with some nice feature

This is an excellent sub-100 wireless home monitoring camera. Amazon shipped it the same day. Initial installation was frustrating as I was going out of town and was unable to connect to the wireless network.
Keep in mind these issues and you won't have any problem:
1) If you don't have a linksys router then don't use WEP as the key generated by linksys devices are different. I am using US Robatics MaxG router.
2)Make sure that forward your correct port in the router ( both tcp & UDP)
3) if you have a netopia dsl router forward the ports in the modem too.
4) Ensure you have assigned a static ip address
i am emailing the video to my phone. it works quite good. I will be definately buying a second camera

Having tried quite a few cameras I am happy to say the linksys suprasses all of them with flying colors. I tried the Airlink 500W, Gadspot 1250, some Chinese PTZ from ebay, and I must say this has the best picture quality and features of any.
** Setup was EASY with the enclosed CD. Just be sure to plug the Lan cable first before power for initial config.
** Picture Quality is good. Sure not perfect but 100% better than the other cameras listed. Low light is good. Does not do night vision but my experience is the cameras that use IR LED do not produce good colors even with IR filter.
** Works on IE, Firefox, Opera, Safari and also worked on my Blackberry 8900.
** Good configuration options like Auto Brightness and Auto Sharpness
** Good wireless signal. I have the camera 2 rooms away from the router and still getting good signal strength and video quality.
** Audio is better than decent but not great. To be expected.
Not sure why all these "IT Experts" with 20 years experience (blah blah blah) are having so many issues. And yes TZO does cost money but you can easily find Free DNS hosts with a google search. Most routers handle it anyways.
This camera setup in under 5 minutes. Again just be sure to plugin the ethernet before the power.

I like to think I'm a very technical and patient person and I really tried my best to like this camera - it was Linksys and Cisco, huge companies that should have done a better job. The camera stopped responding after a few hours (which others have reported here) so I traded it in for a new one, which did the same thing. Tech support recommended reinstalling the same firmware from their website, which worked, then FTP of motion detection stopped working. Tech support couldn't resolve that issue - somebody here said about the username not being able to contain an underscore, that may have been it. The motion detection didn't detect motion half the time, and you couldn't FTP non-motion images (like a normal webcam). After buying two cameras and sinking about 15 hours into troubleshooting, I gave up and am looking for another brand of IP camera.Digital camera Review: Bad Quality

I had this slightly for over a year when the wired interface suddenly stopped working. The wireless still works but I need the wired interface. The motion detection is a joke. But the rest works fine.
