Digital camera reviews of Clarity C4205 2.4GHz Cordless Phone with 50-dB Amplification and Extra Loud Ringer (White)Digital camera Review: Great Phone for Hard of Hearing Summary: 4 Stars
Purchased this phone for my father who is hard of hearing. Other phones we have tried have interferred with his hearing aids when he was wearing them and he could not hear at all with out the hearing aids.
With this telephone he can hear the phone with or without his hearing aids. We are very pleased with this purchase. He can hear both the ringer and the sound of our voice over the phone
This is very re-assuring for our family because we can better communicate with him now.
Digital camera Review: Great phone Summary: 4 Stars
I am very happy with this phone. I can hear with or without my hearing aid. The sound is slightly mechanical, however, it is clear. There are only 2 problems that I have encountered:
1. No caller ID
2. When calling a number that asks you to "Press 1 for customer service", the numbers I press never register and I continue getting a voice telling me to make a selection
Digital camera Review: Great phone for the elderly Summary: 4 Stars
Purchased this phone for my 87 year old mom who has some dementia, is legally blind, and has hearing loss. It seems to be working well for her, the TAlk button is large, and the 3 memory buttons across the top make it easy for her to call.
Digital camera Review: Great volume and clarity Summary: 5 Stars
This phone is appropriately named. I have just given this to my elderly mother, so it has not yet had much use, but so far she is very pleased. She can hear much better than on any other "volume control" phone we have tried for her... and there is much more volume available that she has not used. She didn't think any phone could reach a volume "too loud" for her. Her hearing loss is significant in the high register, so the tone adjustment is also a nice benefit. This phone has many excellent features.
Digital camera Review: Just what we needed.... Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this for my eighty-six-year-old mother who is sure that she doesn't have a hearing problem; wish I agreed. So far she doesn't need the 'boost' button, but the regular sound is much better than the other cordless phones we'd tried. It does change sound quality a bit - voices sound a bit different, but they are clear enough for her to understand. It was just what we needed.
