Summary: 4 Stars
I bought this for my mom. She likes it quite a bit. It provides more amplification than she needs.
I also bought her the "Stealth Secret Sound Amplifier" and she's decided she likes that one a bit better - sound is better for her and her hair hides it pretty well.
Both devices amplify the surrounding sound, so I suspect it's completely dependent on her precise hearing loss.
