I recently bought the Cobra XRS 9345 14 band radar/laser detector for a road trip from upstate NY down the Jersey shore to Wildwood, NJ, about a 6 hour ride. During that time this product worked great 50% of the time, and the other 50% it was a complete let down. The biggest shock of this product was it's changing range of operation. Sometimes it would pick up a police car sitting 1-2 miles up the road. Other times it would not go off until I was 20 feet from the cop car. The X band goes off way too much, often false alarms, and the K band really never goes off. The laser gun also seems to have terrible range. I visibly saw the state trooper aiming the laser gun at me and the dectector still took another 3-5 seconds to go off. However, as mentioned, sometimes it works great. On the trip there was a large curve in the highway, with a police car hiding behind a wall about a mile down the curve. The Kc Band went off a solid .5 miles before I even saw the cop, giving plenty of time to slow down. Overall, you're taking a 50-50 chance with this product based on my opinion.
