Digital camera reviews of Coby 1.5-Inch Digital Photo Key Chain (Black)

Digital camera Review: Love this Nice Photo Viewer
Summary: 5 Stars

This is definitely worth getting if you want a tiny picture album I was able to install the software and quickly update a handful of pictures in less then 15 minutes. The Picture Viewer program was fairly easy to use. Just pick a bunch of pictures on your drives, add them to your collection and then upload the collection to the key chain. Adding more pictures to collection later on was no problem. There is a counter on the program that will only allow you to store 62 pictures max.

Digital camera Review: Must Have Patience
Summary: 2 Stars

I bought two of these. One worked with no problems. Very easy to hook-up, load, and turn on. The other one......made me wish I hadn't bought either one. HOWEVER, after about 3 weeks of working with it, I FINALLY was able to download pictures. I believe the USB cord was bad!! Good luck if you buy this thing.

Digital camera Review: Nice Gadget - Chuck the chain
Summary: 4 Stars

Nice little gadget for the price. The chain looks kinda cheap. Rather than taking a risk of a link opening and losing the LCD, I removed the 5 link chain and re-connected the 2 split rings together. The split rings are very strong. I think some other part of the unit would break before the split rings open (should it get caught on something). I'm not attaching keys but may clip it on to a separate key ring. So I didn't have any problems downloading pictures to the key chain. The Photo Viewer screen opened up pretty quickly after I plugged it into a USB port. My XP found and downloaded the software. I didn't re-start the computer as it asked. I opened up a picture folder and chose 60 pictures, clicked download, closed Photo Viewer then safely ejected the hardware. I unplugged from the USB cord and looked at all the pictures as a automatic slide show. Went forward and backward on some pictures. There is also a manual display option. Now I've reconnected to a USB port and am charging it for the recommended 4 hours. OK so I'm buying 5 more for Christmas gifts.
Update: My wife's friends really love these!!! We gave them all away and are ordering more. Here's a tip. Preview your pictures and COPY the 60 or fewer you want on the Coby. Open only that folder when you're ready to transfer them.

Digital camera Review: Nice but tricky
Summary: 3 Stars

Bought 18 for a team gift. It was tricky at first but I managed through necessity. I though with 18 I could shortcut the process - NADA. Ad nauseum tedium! However, the results are outstanding! It was like having an operation - it doesn't take too long to forget the pain and frustration because the results are so good.

Digital camera Review: No problems here
Summary: 5 Stars

I bought this fully-prepared to use my patience & just wade through whatever issues may arise based on past reviews. Pleasantly enough, this thing worked the first time. Short, straight forward directions - had pictures loaded in < 5min. Works better than expected.
