Digital camera Review: A neat little gadget

I just bought one of these from Best Buy, and the cd had both XP and Max software on it. The software is kind of ghetto looking, and the "Upload completely!" message indicates that there was obviously not much software quality control, but it works. The only thing, if you unplug the keychain while the software is up, and you forgot a picture so you replug it in while the software is still open, the download will not work. You will have to close the software and reopen it once you have reconnected and selected "usb update".
I got this as a gift for my fiancee's mother, so I hope it'll hold out until Xmas (8 days to go). Will update if I find a problem with it. Otherwise, everything is working and the pictures uploaded fine. Also cheaper and less bulky looking than the ones at Sharper Image and Brookstone (probably less quality with this one, but my mother-in-law to be is scared of technology, so if she doesn't use it $30 is much less to be upset over than $60).

It is supposed to work on Macs running OS X but the software crashes when you click the popup box that tells you to make sure it is plugged in. Called customer service and they told me to restart my computer and reinstall the software, then restart it again. Still didn't work. Tried it on two other Macs running slightly different versions of OS X still didn't work. This was purchased at a Big Lots store so that should have been a clue that Coby is dumping their defective product.Digital camera Review: AWESOME Digiital photo frame

I Love this little LCD photo display the pictures look great.. Before getting this (or putting on my wish list I looked at the reviews good and bad...so I was kind of worried...)
You have to be a little computer savvy to operate the software program...for some reason the message I kept getting when I would click on the photo viewer program was that the program was managed by another?
I was confused by that message and I almost gave up but then I was looking at my computer in the right hand corner where I see the little icon about safely disconnecting mass storage devices I saw that the device was connected to the computer and when I clicked on the software program it opened right up and I downloaded 17 pictures and then I wanted to add 14 more....
But it doesn't work that way...what happened was that it replaced the 17 I had on there....so I had to redo the whole thing and right now I have 32 pictures on there and they look GREAT!
So I bought 3 more of these... I was going to give them away to love ones but I might just keep them...:-)

I bought this as a Mother's Day gift for my wife to put the kids' pictures in them. I saw all the mixed (though trending toward negative) reviews, but for just over $10, I figured what the heck. Now, I wished I'd heeded some of the comments. This thing would not get recognized in Vista SP1, constantly connecting then disconnecting with that oh-so-catchy USB jingle. There was no software CD provided. I tried everything I could to get my computer to see it, following the directions in the packaging plus some of those given in these reviews. Nothing, nada, zilch.
This was the first and will likely be the last Coby product I purchase. Save your money or spend just a little extra to get a product that will actually work reliably for you.

Received this as a gift. First off the software would not install. I am running MacOS 10.3.9. The package claims compatible with MacOSX, but that is not very specific. Turns out you need 10.4.x. I contacted their tech support and was emailed a different version, which did install. The interface is relatively easy to understand, but primitive and awkward. The device itself is nice looking, but the other hassles make it not worthwhile. The biggest annoyance of all is battery life. It only runs a couple of hours on a full charge. Do charge it overnight though as the manual recommends or you won't even get that. It's funny - reading thru the other reviews, people either love this or hate it. Almost no 3 star reviews.
