Digital camera Review: Best transmitter I've owned!

I have gone through four of these types of FM Transmitters. One was powered by the iPod. I don't recommend that type as it sucks your battery dry quickly. The one I am replacing this time worked alright, but was bulky and finally stopped working correctly. I was happy when I plugged this one in and effortlessly synced FM stations and got CD quality sound. Another nice feature is that you don't have to switch it on. When it is plugged in it is live when the radio is tuned to that station and does not affect any other stations if you are listening or scanning other stations. The only thing I wish someone would add is a bit of amplification. Every transmitter I've used requires you to turn your iPod volume up almost all the way and then you still have to turn your stereo volume up much higher than normal. Obviously, if you forget to adjust both volumes down before using either next time, you will blast your eardrums or speakers.Digital camera Review: Better than expected!!

I couldn't believe how easy this was to use. It literally took me 30 seconds to set up. Plug it into the car charger, the default on the Coby was 108; my radio went up to 107.9, switched to transmitter to 107.9 and walla....music from the car stereo system. AND, it sounds pretty good with little or no interference (of course, that depends where you are). Having the extra charger was a smart design choice. Also, the unit looks pretty good and does not take up that much room (I have an 04 Altima). Highly recommended!!

I purchased this after reading all the other positive reviews, and I would have to say, they were absolutely right. I have a Creative Zen and the accessories are harder to find than those for the IPOD. Initially I searched and purchased the brand wireless transmitter. I live on the east coast so it was hard to find a frequency that worked. It was also a bulky product and didn't have the extra charger.
I thought that I would try this transmitter since others liked it. Shortly after receiving it, I took a road trip and realized what I had been missing all this time. I didn't have to change frequencies once during my trip through several states. The sound was clear, it was easy to use, and since it was a long drive, I was able to plug in my Zen while it played.
I would recommend this product to anyone who is having difficulty finding products for their brand (and some who can find the products). It was well worth the cost.

This works better then the Belkin I had purchased a few years ago. You will not be able to listen to your music SUPER loud but it works well enough for me, I use it mostly to listen to audio books and those don't need to be blasting. My lighter in my car doesn't work anymore though, I am not sure if that is a defect of the car or the transmitter though. It was easy to find a station that works well, kept signal really well, and the bright blue back light is also a nice feature. I bought this from Amazon and it came two days later. I haven't tried many other MP3 FM transmitters so I don't have a comparison. But, I can tell you this one works very well. I live in a Radio Frequency jammed Southern California and no matter where I went, I received clean MP3 audio. It actually sounded better than my FM radio! There are naturally some spots where the signal would fade for a second and the unit likes to be in the line of site of the radio antennae. Nice feature is it has a 12 volt pass-through so you don't loose an outlet in your car. I am sure there are better ones available for more money. But overall you can't beat it for the price. I would buy it again!
