I got an iPod Shuffle with the standard white earbuds and they worked fine except they kept falling out. My ears just aren't as standard as most iPod users. So I went to Best Buy and got a nice pair of earplug types, in black, that fit much better. Only one problem - after a few weeks something happened somewhere in the wires and I lost all sound in one ear. Then in another week the other ear started to cut out. So I looked in Amazon and found this nice pair of inexpensive Coby Stereo Earphones and so far (2 months) they have worked fine.
My wife says I should have had her buy a pair at the Stanford Book Store, but I bet they were a lot more than the $5 I paid thru Amazon (plus shipping). I paid more than $20 for the plugs at Best Buy. I have bought some books through Amazon, too, and the prices and quality were always terrific.

I bought these ear buds four months ago and they've already broken. Everything is still intact, but the individual buds simply quit working, first one and then the other. I subjected them to the same day-to-day handling that I have other brands, and this is the first pair that have broken so easily. I hesitate to buy another Coby product in the future.Digital camera Review: Great for the money.

I got these for my son to use with his Zune and he loves them. The isolation feature makes it so he dosen't have to turn up the volume to block out background noise. And, although they don't compare to high end earphones, they're better than most I've heard for 6X the price. My son likes them so much I bought 3 more sets for when he breaks or looses the current set.
