Amazon lists this product twice at slightly different prices and with a different set of reviews. Go figure. Anyhow, this is a perfect hiking companion. Reception is good, the earbuds have good sound quality and are even marked as to LEFT and RIGHT stereo. I haven't dropped it or stepped on it yet and I'm sure there is a limit to its durability, so I don't intend to. I haven't tested it for jogging.Digital camera Review: Mini Radio

A great little radio!! Has AM band which no MP3 has. It is digital, and is easy to hop around from station to station. I had my first one for many years, and have gone through several sets of earbuds. Unfortunately, I lost it, so I turned right around and bought another one! I received the Radio Shack-branded version of the same radio for Christmas.
It can fit in your pocket, clip to your shirt or belt, or you can wear it around your neck. It does what it's supposed to, with fairly intuitive controls. The audio quality, though not perfect, is pretty good for a small unit; a bass boost function is included.
It works best outside; using it inside might compromise signal quality and strength, but that is true with every other portable radio of this type I've used. I'd buy it again if it were lost or stolen.

Construction on this radio is a little cheap; clear plastic panel is glued on, and the glue is visibly failing after just a few months' use. Would be nice, too, if it were powered by one AAA battery (like Sony's competing SFR-M37V) instead of the heavier 2-AA battery combo.
The buttons' feature set is impressive, including the ability to cycle among preset stations or seek the next tunable station. But because all the buttons feel alike, it's difficult to operate without taking it out of a pocket -- a big downside for those who change channels frequently, particularly during a walk or a workout.
