I really thought this item would have been alot better.The sound was very distorted @ a loud volume.No bass what so ever,it was not very loud either.My advice to anyone purchasing this item is,do not buy it if you like clear sounding and loud bass music,it is not for you.Looks are deceiving in this case.However,Amazon is still a great place to buy,cheap and fast delivery,just don't recommend this item for users that like a clear sound.Digital camera Review: Excellent radio for the money!! This is an excellent radio and is only sold thru Wal-Mart and Radio Shack's website and ship to the store if you want to buy one over the counter. The Amazon price was $44 and free shipping comnpared to $60+. I have a large collection of old cassettes that exceed 20 yrs. Most are high quality CR02 and Metal and in good shape. This radio sounds excellent with them since they were quality recordings even without the use of a built in EQ. The vendor is an electronics chain out of TN and it still went out on Monday after the state had major flooding including the Nashville area where the Radio was shipped from. I will rate the vendor and the radio at 5 Stars. Amazon keep up the good work with good products, competitive pricing and quality vendors such as this one!!! A++ (-:}Digital camera Review: Good Buy

Unit boasts large speakers. The sound is above average, although there isn't much bass. A traditional analog (nondigital) tuner makes it easier to change stations or to scan stations quickly. One drawback is that the unit does not play MP3 files burned to a CD. Contains a built-in microphone for tape, which is a virtual rarity these days. The draw of the unit is it's crystal clear sound, although I would prefer just a bit more bass.Digital camera Review: Great Product!

I highly recommend anyone try this radio/cd/cassette player. I used it for a family reunion where there was no electricity. The player runs on electricity or batteries and the sound, using batteries, is fantastic. You can also hook up a microphone. It was definitely a good purchase.
