I originally considered a Zune or iPod, but I didn't have a lot of digital music nor did I feel like going through the hassle of organizing a collection. I just wanted something simple, easy to use, and cheap. Gets excellent reception and I listen to it every day on my commute to and from work while on my motorcycle. I bought this radio for my boyfriend for Christmas to listen to AM talk or sports radio in his office at work and/or at home when he is working on the house or outside in the yard. For some reason I thought it had a built-in speaker (my oversight). It did come with speaker buds and a wrist strap. The radio is really sleek and small. I like that it has a digital tuning screen too. Well, the boyfriend can't use the earbuds at work, so I went on the hunt for portable speaker and by chance came across the Homedics On the Go Portable Speaker Case 2653061. The radio fits PERFECTLY within and the case has a handy clip and protects the radio nicely if you happen to drop it. I put the batteries in both devices and they work great together.
