Digital camera Review: An "all-right" product
Summary: 3 Stars
I've had this mp3 player for about three and a half months. I use it everyday and try to take very good care of it. Here are some things I thought I would share.
First, the battery life isn't all that great. It seems like every time I turn around it's telling me the battery is low. I also dislike how you need a usb to charge it. A wall charger would be so much easier.
Second, (and this is the biggest thing for me) I go to school and work at my college so I basically walk everywhere I go, and I'm always listening to my mp3 player. With the touchpad I feel limited. I can't stick it in my pocket because it messes with the sensitive touch-buttons and screws up whatever I'm listening to.
Third, there is no audiobook section. I'm a big book fanatic so if I'm not listening to music, I'm reading or listening to an audiobook. There is no place for that here.
Fourth, the radio doesn't really work at all. I only got static and that was a bit annoying.
Fifth, the playlists: It doesn't seperate the playlists from the rest of the music files. You can go to your playlist and listen to those files, but when you go to your regular playing list the playlist is kind of thrown right in the middle of it as well. (Hope that didn't confuse anyone.)
Finally, the power button is difficult to use. You have to pull it to the side and hold it down for a bit before the player cuts on or off.
Now, don't get me wrong, the player is fine. It holds plenty of music and is a good player to have if you're not very active with its use like taking it outside while you run or do yardwork or are hoofing it across campus. The sound is good, too.
I just ordered a Creative Zen because I need something just a litte more convenient for my lifestlye.
