Digital camera Review: Decent for the Price

I like the portable DVD player. I bought it for the car mostly for my three year olds entertainment.
Like the look overall. Seems durable. Nice picture. Came with everything you need.
The only downfall I can see is that if your using it for your car, the bag it comes with wasn't designed very well. You have to take the whole player out of the tight fitting bag in order to change the DVD. Kind of a pain, if you ask me. Make sure you put in a long running movie so you won't have to keep changing it.
Not sure if I would purchase another one, just for the fact that I wanted it specifically for the car.
Next time I might look for one that has a better bag design or buy a side loading DVD player.

We purchased this unit because of the good reviews and the tablet style. Unforunately after 3 days of use, it simply would not power on. It would not show movies, play CD's, spin up the disk, anything. It would, however, get extremely hot with the power switch turned on, even though it did nothing. While it was working, the display was pretty good and the volume was louder than other inexpensive players I have seen. It played DVD's and CD's without a problem. It comes with plenty of accessories for your home and car. Overall on paper it looks good, and when it works it is good enough. Too bad for us it broke down in the middle of our vacation and we had to drive 1300 miles with two children under 3 with no DVD on the way home, which is the only reason we purchased it in the first place! I am within my return time to Amazon, so I am going to get a full refund and try another brand. As with any inexpensive player, be prepared for failure in a short amount of time because more than likely, it will happen. I'm not sure what happened with the other reviewers on this site but our unit has been awesome. We used it on a trip from California to the east coast last year and on countless long car trips. The player comes packaged with all you need including a car charger and headrest attachment for backseat viewing. We have never had any problems with this player in the 1 year we have owned it. I bought this for our long car trips to visit family. I found the picture and sound to be pretty good and was impressed with all of the accessories (although I didn't have a need for most of them) but was disappointed with several features. First of all, several DVD's kept freezing or going back to the beginning throughout the trip. These DVD's play fine on our home player, so it can't be a problem with the DVD itself. I also found it annoying that I had to take the whole thing out of the holder to insert a new cd, and then when I went to put the player back into the holder, many times it would turn off because the off button brushed up against the side of the holder while sliding in. The kickstand is absolutely useless, so if you want to prop it up to watch on a table top, forget it. I also was disappointed that the player did not charge while plugged in and playing a movie. Also, the battery does not hold the charge for as long as I would have liked either. It's cheaper than many other players, but you get what you pay for.Digital camera Review: Disappointed....

We bought this product for our toddler and about 5 months later it quit reading the DVD's. Have tried cleaning the device and using various DVD's, but nothing is working. I am very disappointed in the quality of something that breaks after only 5-6 months of use....
