Digital camera Review: Coby Player- A nice product until it broke down

I bought this player about 8 month ago and was very happy with it. So was my daughter who kept touching all the buttons with her feet. Then suddenly the LCD screen started going on and off and now is completely dead. I guess you can't ask too much from it. Unit works well and have had it for a couple of months now with no problems. The only issue is that the screen is very easy to scratch and my 3 1/2 year old proved that within a couple of days. The scratches are not noticible when viewing, but Coby needs to improve their scratch resistance in the future.Digital camera Review: Coby TF-DVD7050 7"

I had been searching for a portable DVD player, and I purchased this one because of the reviews that I read. I have to say that I am totally satified with this DVD.
While using my DVD the first thing that everyone notices is the clarify of the picture! For a 7" screen - the picture clarify and sharpness is fantastic. I can watch a full length movie before the battery runs low. Because of the 2 earplug jacks - convenience is great because 2 people can watch in privacy at one time.
Durability is also another factor to why I love this DVD. I commute on the bus to work; when it comes to my stop many times I just plop the player into my back pack, and it has endured a lot of tossing, bumping and man handling. Once on accident it fell from my table top to the floor and it is still in tack.
The speakers on this DVD allows for viewing a DVD with out headphone! It came with a headphone, car charger & regular charger, a carrying case and jacks to hook up to your home entertainment center - yes TV and all!!! This DVD can literally stand up on it's on - (I really mean it - it can stand, lay flat or be secured to a headrest in any vehicle).
Do i recommend get this DVD! Heck yes!! The price - the quality - the durability all in one package!!

Bought it to keep my 3 year old busy while flying across country. Found that I used it for myself as well when flying. Works great. The tablet style seemed to work out really well since he liked to hold it while watching. I'm not sure why anyone would spend more money then this for a portable DVD player. The picture and sound are fine. Good deal.
