This is an awesome Kindle cover. The cover gives the Kindle the look and feel of a leather bound book. A nice addition would have been a strap or clasp to hold it closed but even without it is a great cover. I bought the cover on sale through Amazon at about 40% off. Initially skeptical, wondering if I was paying additional for the Cole Haan name, but I was pleasantly surprised: Unlike my first mEdge cover (which is more structured, feels a but less quality), the CH was a way better choice. Would have paid full price.
My only gripe is the small black hooks that attach the cover to the Kindle stained the suede inside surface. A minor point, and considering the discount, I was completely satisfied.

I almost bought one of these for my wife a year ago at $100, and would have been perfectly satisfied at that price... it's a beautiful piece of leather, with a great feel and smell, and you can see the hand-dyed quality the second you open the box. But at this price, it's an insane value. SHe loves it. The Kindle was a Christmas present and I wanted a nice cover to protect it. Although not too crazy about the high price, this is an excellent cover! Buttery soft leather and it doesn't shout, "Hey, there's a Kindle in here"!
Beautiful, high-end cover. Easy to fasten the Kindle in and easy to remove. I preferred the fact that the Kindle is secured in this cover with a fastening mechanism as opposed to only being held in with elastic straps.
Buy it! Buyer's remorse may kick in, but it won't last long. You'll be glad you purchased this cover.

I originally ordered Amazon's own cover with my Kindle, but was disappointed in it. Sure it worked well, the hinge mechanism is great and it does cover the Kindle, you get what you pay for and this just didn't smell of leather.
The Cole Haan cover is thing of beauty. It is luxuriously made, in soft leather with a wonderful suede lining. It has the hinge mechanism, which securely attaches it to the Kindle. The cover is comfortable to hold and easily folds back so it can be held in one hand.
Best of all is has a delicious leather smell, which I love...gorgeous! It is well worth the money paid for it, it is smart, elegant and will I'm sure last.
