Digital camera reviews of Cole Haan Hand-Stained Pebble Grain Leather Kindle Cover with Hinge (Fits 6" Display, 2nd Generation Kindle), Saddle TanDigital camera Review: Beautiful supple cover Summary: 5 Stars
I was pleaseantly surprised with this cover, especially at the bargain price I got! I won't go over all the points covered in detail in all the other reviews, except to say that I have experienced no issues with the hooks and easily remove the kindle and put it back in often. That said, I wanted to compare it to the black Cole Haan cover. The tan front cover has no support, and easily flops back for one handed reading. But for those who like to hold open the cover with two hands, like a book, I'm not sure how they're doing that because the front cover has no support. Not a bad thing, just something to be aware of. It's just really soft and supple. I sometimes roll my front cover up into a circle and back to break in a little more, though it certainly does not need breaking in. Just pointing out how flexible the front cover is. Coming from the original Amazon cover this was a little different experience for me. The black Cole Haan cover, in contrast, is much thicker, and has a very sturdy front cover support. Thicker and sturdier than the Amazon cover, and adds a lot more overall bulk to the kindle than the tan cover. The smooth leather on the black one does seem to get scratched rather easily, and makes it look bad, as opposed to the tan cover, which while it gets marked up just gives it that more distressed leather look, which just looks nicer in my opinion. The black cover needs breaking in. I think this tan cover really exudes luxuriousness, and feels and even smells great. I was just surprised at how different the two different colored covers were from Cole Haan. I guess I expected the same cover, just one being black and one being tan of course!
The only minor complaint I would have is that the front cover is so free of any backing support (basically just a freely flopping piece of fine quality leather), that when it is closed you see the outline of the kindle where the screen ends and the keyboard part starts through the leather. I'd rather not see that indentation. Putting a business card in the holder seems to help a little with that, but I also prefer not to have a business card in there:) Who knows, maybe that will come back to save me one day if I ever lose it and a generous soul finds it. Anyways, I would highly recommed this cover, especially at 60% off list!
Digital camera Review: Cole Haan Kindle Cover Summary: 2 Stars
I usually like all Cole Haan products but was very disappointed with the Kindle cover. I waited for it to go on sale and am so glad I didn't pay the full (over) price for it.

Digital camera Review: Cole Haan Kinle Cover Summary: 5 Stars
I love this cover for my Kindle. It so soft and flexible.
It does make reading my Kindle feel like I am reading a book
with a leather cover. It is thin yet protects my Kindle.
I keep it in my briefcase so I always have something to read
in any spare time I have and the cover is all CLASS.
