I had looked at this cover several times and had put off purchasing it because I already had a standard cover, and it didn't really fall into the "Needs" category (if you know what I mean). I finally gave in and bought it for myself and I have been so pleased with it. The leather is very soft, the interior even more so, and the leather and craftsmanship are gorgeous. Using the kindle is a more enjoyable experience due to this cover! I wish I hadn't put off buying this as long as I did. I highly recommend it! IDigital camera Review: Everyday luxury for your Kindle

The soft leather feel of this cover is true luxury. It may feel soft but is, in fact, remarkably sturdy. Carrying the Kindle around in it feels like you have a fine old, but not too heavy, book in your hands. Scratches simply add to the cover's character. Learning how to put the Kindle on the hinges is a bit of a trick but, once learned, is trivial. If you're a heavy user of your Kindle, I simply can't recommend this cover highly enough. This is a well made, elegant cover for the Kindle, but be advised - the latest generation Kindle is NOT the same as a 2nd generation Kindle. Amazon changed the hinge openings on the latest generation Kindle. Now more widely spaced, the openings do not accommodate the hinge built into this cover.Digital camera Review: Excellent value for money, seriously.

I first tried the new standard Amazon case for the Kindle 2 and could not live with the synthetic leather and strong smell. After much consideration I ended up ordering this case which does seem overpriced. The quality however is nothing short of outstanding. Cole Haan did use their best materials here and it trully exceeded my expectations. You do get what you pay for and sometimes a little more than that.
