Had I read the reviews, I would have realized that when the listing said this was compatible with the iPhone 3G running "Newest 2.2 Firmware", it was outdated since 2.2 isn't the current version of firmware. Shame on me, but it's still disappointing to think you're getting a great deal to end up with a useless cable that probably isn't worth shipping back. (imo, you shouldn't have to read the reviews to know that this isn't compatible)
