Digital camera Review: Adequate - Bargained Priced Microphone

As some other reviewers mentioned, what do you expect for $6.50. The latest price for this product is $19.50. I certainly won't pay that price for now.
This is basically a pretty nice, very light goose neck type microphone attached to a bottom ring type stand. Unfortunately, the base stand is very light and will tend to slide if you are not careful. The off and on switch was confusing to some reviewers, but essentially is was depress and push down to activate or reverse the process to kill the input. Sound quality was something that needed to be improved. I have a rather high pitch in my own voice. However, after hearing my recording through both my computer speakers and headphones, it sounded rather very bassy and almost inaudible even with the volumne on the soundcard set to maximum.
Sort of like hearing a "Barry White" or "Darth Vader" kind of tone which makes me wonder if I really do sound like those characters.
Otherwise, for $6.50 is pretty darn adequate and decent enough to hear myself speaking Spanish. Also comes with a cute windscreen.
Another observation is that the line cord from the microphone that connects to the sound card looked and felt like a heavy piece of string. I could have sworn it was not an insulated piece of copper wire.
In closing, pretty good deal for $6.50. I will probably keep for awhile until I come across one that will reproduce my voice more accurately.
