The case works just a promised. It fits my Contour nice and snug and keeps everything inside perfectly dry. Although the GoPro was the first waterproof helmet cam, I find the shape of the Contour to be more pleasing and it is easier in my opinion to turn it on be sure you are recording. This is all true even with the waterproof housing. The sound is quite muffled with the case on but you get an interesting water sound. It would be nice if Contour offered more "handsfree" attachments especially when you have to use your hands to swim. For a sample vid check this out...
