As other reviewers have mentioned... is this thing Big, Quiet, Excellent Cooling, Inexpensive? YES!!!!
Remove motherboard for install? PROBABLY, unless your lucky enough to have a case with access to backside of motherboard, still easy enough, it will just take longer to install the fan.
Amd 945 Processor with a mild overclock of 3.3 Ghz with hours of non-stop video processing all 4 cores near or at 100%, temp will reach 45c max with about 80% fan speed, (stock cooler was closer to 60c without overclocking and much louder).
As the title explains, this cooler will let you push your processor without the worries associated with a stock cooler.
