Several years ago I got tired of being ripped off by Dell with their proprietary non-upgradeable mother boards. At that time, PC Magazine published an article with complete instructions on building a high end gamer PC. I found that the high speed and great graphic card lent itself extremely well to business applications. After a learning curve I now pick and choose components of my own choice for assembling a new computer. As of today, I have built five computers upgrading as new and faster components became available. My latest is an EVGA X58 mother board with an Intel i7 processor utilizing an EVGA GeForce GTX 260 graphics card. The Cooler Master V8 sits on top of the i7 processor in a Cooler master HAF 922 case with a 200mm fan on the side panel. Yes the V8 fits no problem. I could have opted for a water cooler for the i7 but the Cooler Master V8 does its job quietly and with no worry about water leaks.
