This flash drive is reasonably fast (especially if you copy one large file at a time), but its profile (i.e. the rubber casing surrounding the drive) is too thick for some USB connectors, such as that found on the MacBook Air (MBA). I found from the first time I used it on my MBA that there seemed to be some strain on the USB connector, and after about 40-50 uses, the MBA began to complain that it couldn't communicate with the drive.
In summary: if you have a USB connector that is easily accessible, this flash drive should work well, but it has a limited lifetime for small spaces.

I almost wish I got the 64 Gig.

I needed a simple, easy, light way to backup data for on-the-road work.
External drives exist, but are usually large and some require external power sources, so you're stuck dragging a whole bunch of stuff around.
Memory sticks are typically too small for any "real" backups.
32Gb is still on the smallish side, but just about works.
I was a little sceptical about the reliability of this stick, but have had it for several months now, and it's performed flawlessly. There's no chance of head damage, as sometimes occurs with drives that bounce around a lot, and it's small enough to fit in a jacket or pants pocket, so that when you leave your laptop and case in the hotel, it doesn't matter if the place burns down.
Great product. Not fast, so working directly off the stick has not worked well for me, but using a backup program (like SecondCopy) works great- just set up a profile, hit it before you end work, wait 2 minutes, and you're good to go, with all work secured. Very nice.
And it's now half price compared to when I bought it a few months ago at $300 - and even then it was worth it!

I bought this drive because I needed to move some huge files (14GB, 5gb, 4GB, etc.) over to another computer and my 8GB flash drive was way too small.
Wow! Did this drive ever fit the bill. It is small, standard size for a flash drive, sturdy, and fits a ton of information on it. It is also fast on the data transfer on the download. The upload seemed just a tad slower than I would have liked, but considering the size of the files it was more than fast enough.
This sturdy drive is of excellent quality and I've had no problems at all with it. Amazon had the best price around and as always) very fast reliable delivery.
I would definitely recommend this drive to a friend... :)
