Digital camera Review: Excellent Case

Lets face it, the Zen Player, despite the wonderful features, feels very cheap and fragile. However, once this case is on, the Zen feels extremely sturdy and durable. I never take the case off of my Zen. All of the buttons are accessible through the case, and head phones and USB cables can plug in just fine. The belt clip is a great feature also. It is very secure and easy to reach when clipped on a belt. Sadly, the leather connecting the clip to the case is of very poor quality. Mine broke after just a couple of months use. Luckily, duct tape intervened and it now holds together stronger than ever. I would recommend taping it from the very start to avoid the same problem.It does not scratch easily, and has stayed very clear despite frequent use. The video stand I imagine would be great for some people, however I never use it. If you own a Creative Zen Player, then this case is a vital necessity that you can not do without.Digital camera Review: Excellent case for the ZEN

I really like this case. the only thing i would like to see is protection for the buttons which could be done. I never use the loop and the ring so I took my one off, I believe the case could withstand a slight hammer blow.Digital camera Review: Excellent case, crappy key ring

The only reason this gets 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the ring. The circular shape doesn't work for carabiner rings, the latch can easily be misaligned and it doesn't snap quickly onto things. Takes a minute or two to clip it onto something (unless you're extremely coordinated, which I'm not). I switched the circle ring out with a standard D-shaped mini carabiner and that works much better, it snaps together securely and very easily. And why is there no access to the SD slot with the case on? The slot already has a dummy card in it to protect the slot, so why is it necessary to cover it with another layer of plastic?
Aside from these two issues, this is a great case, it protects the screen and I can access (almost) everything I need to. The case fits tightly but on mine there was no "oil-spot" contact point between the case and the screen- maybe that was fixed in later production runs. And for those who complain about the case adding thickness to the player- it's not that much, and how else are you supposed to protect the player? It's a non-issue for me. Unless you want to smother your player in a leather case, this is the best thing you will find for the Zen. And if it scratches, you can always buy a new clear case instead of having to replace the player itself.

I don't know what people are raving about . Obviously a case deigned to protect something will make the product a little bit thicker. But i had no problems with the case except for one. The Key ring was extremely cheap quality and if i really tried i could bend it with my index finger. Other than that the case is strong ,durable and surely will protect your zen for years to come =)
The buttons are still easily accessible and you can get access to everything needed except for the Sd slot. That is the reason why i gave it 4 stars. My kickstand works fine but im not sure what other customers experience was. I have seen some other reviews and they complain that it is plastic . Well what else are they going to make it out of? Tunkston carbide.? Almost any case is made out of plastic!! But i do have to admit it does scratch fairly easy. But which one is cheaper to replace your 130 dollar zen or a stupid 15 dollar case? Exactly the case so all in all this product is great for its price.

I suggest you buy this case along with your Zen player. It's good protection against scratches and may prevent your player from shattering if it's accidently dropped. I even like the keyring. It seems sturdy enough to me but only time will tell.
