Overall, this is a great case for the Zen. I would suggest two improvements, however. The access opening for the headphone jack should be a little bigger so as to accomodate a wider range of plug sizes. Also, the spring clip should be modified. It tends to get hung up on whatever you are clipping the case to when you are trying to unclip it.Digital camera Review: Great case so far....

Simple easy case to operate. I don't mind the carabiner ring. It does seem to be a little less intuitive than a traditionally shaped on might be, but I am more worried about the longevity of the fabric loop that the carabiner hooks through. This seems flimsy to me and likely will not last. Otherwise, just great. It's a very good strong case that feels like I could throw it against a brick wall. I use the stand that is built in to the case daily and it really helps when shareing videos with friends. I also really like the removable belt clip. For those who don't usually carry some form of bag around with them, an MP3 player isn't a priority to shove in to your pocket.
While I'm glad I bought it, it does have some drawbacks. It doesn't make the device much bigger, but considering how small it starts out the difference is very noticible. The buttons are slightly harder to use when not looking at the device (i.e. If the device is in a pocket or hooked to a belt loop). The screen isn't nearly as nice looking with the cover on as the cover itself scratches easily and gets so close to the screen that it creates visable air bubbles. The worst thing about the case is the fact that not all headphone jacks work with the case on. The headphone jack becomes recessed much like some IPODs. My Shure headphones work, but every time I want to plug my ZEN in to my car I have to remove the case.
Like I said - I'm still happy I got the case. I've droped the device maybe two times, but I'm just happy to know that the pretty ZEN itself is unharmed.

This case provides excellent protection for the Zen's screen and is not easily scratched itself. All the controls, headphone jack and USB port are left exposed and fully usable (unless your headphones/speakers have a ridiculously thick plug - in which case, I'd recommend picking up the Scoche 3.5mm Portable Audio Adapter Kit).
The only reason this doesn't get five stars is because the kickstand doesn't lock in place when open. The weight of the device is usually enough to keep it from collapsing, but I would have preferred a more sturdy mechanism. That being said, it does work well enough in most situations.
I haven't tried any other cases for the Zen, but I'm so happy with this one I probably never will.

Okay this case fits perfectly and I have owned it for a little over 2 years. It has protected my 4gb zen and has absolutely no scratches on the screen as of yet.
I will note a few things that I have had so you can be informed
-The case can get dirt in between the case and player, I recommend if keeping in pocket you take it out of case and whipe off with cloth every couple weeks.
-The case does get scratches on it but thats the point so your player stays nice.
-The lanyard circle I have hasnt broken yet and has never fallen off my pants
-The little cloth that connects your lanyard to my case broke after about a year and a half. I saw it ripping so I replaced it. I bought some comparable material at walmart and my wife stiched a piece together and it works perfect again.
-The little stand for propping it up for watching a movie surprisingly works well and doesnt fall, it stays clipped into the back and works out nice.
The case doesnt have access for being able to reset the player just a note.
Worth the money. I bought it the day I got my player was worth the money.
****Warning**** There are small extensions coming from the inside of the case that will scratch the other area of your player from prolonged use. It isnt on the screen but the outer area, for me its not a huge deal but if it is for you you can see the ribbed pieces and you may want to sand them but more then likely it creates the tight fit.
