Digital camera Review: Great Case
Summary: 5 Stars

At first I had some problems with the case not pressing the buttons, but after a few minutes positioning the player right everything is fine.

The player fits well and the stand is a nice addition. The case also isn't very bulky. It adds very little to the player.

As for the claim of you not being able to charge or connect your player to your PC with it on, I can. Maybe they did redesign the case. I had no trouble charging and accessing my player through my PC while it was in the case.

This case is great. Highly recommended.

Digital camera Review: Handy
Summary: 3 Stars

I got the pink one a few months back, and I'm pretty happy with it. It protects my Zen Vision:M from scratches and the like, although I also have one of those clear stickers stuck on my screen to protect it from just that. The video stand comes in handy as well, although I've learned that it depends on how high the table you put it on is to view the screen well.

My only complaint about it is that the dye used in the backing has stained the back of my Zen. So now the back has pink blotches on it. Must be from the heat of the player, because I never wet the case.

Digital camera Review: Horrible Case
Summary: 1 Stars

I bought this case thinking it would protect my Zen from scratches. I discovered that this is not true and now my player is covered in ugly little scratches.

First of all, the case has so many open areas that it doesnt protect it from dust or rain. I really didn't care about that when I bought it though, since I wouldn't be taking it outside.

Secondly, the coloring of the case rubs off and stains the white parts of your mp3 player. I got a green case to go along with my green player.... and now the top white part and the back are smeared with the green dye of the case...

Thirdly, you cannot control the unit while it is inside the case. The case is so rigid that pressing one button results in many buttons being pressed. In order for me to press the buttons I had to take it out of the case. Which leads me to the worst feature of this case...

...this case doesn't protect from scratches at all. In fact -- it CREATES scratches! The stitching surrounding the clear plastic screen cover on the inside is very pointy and sharp. The result? Thousands of scratches all over my green Creative Zen Vision:M! Not only that, I noticed that it scratched long lines all the way down the player from constantly taking it out (to press the buttons).

I've had this case for a few months now, and I'm not going to use it anymore. The only positive thing about the case is that it can prop up and that it has a belt-clip.

Digital camera Review: Newer case redesigned?
Summary: 4 Stars

Initially when I bought my CVM (Creative Vision:M) player, I bought the "green" case because that's all that was available. required a "field patch" to enable the CVM to charge while still in the case. What I did was cut out the leather on the bottom so that it would accommodate the charging adapter. This was because the padded leather was too thick to allow the adapter to fully seat in the bottom socket of the CVM.

The case is pretty decent. Yes it is a bit large and clunky, but it protects the player very well. And it has a clear plastic window to protect the screen--which is the most critical thing. I even use the snap-out stand on the back--it works similar to a picture frame prop-up. Also, when new the leather is a little stiff, so it makes the navigation dealy a little sketchy. After a while it gets better.

After keeping an eye out for a new case (the green was a bit much for me) I eventually saw the Black ones.. ordered one, and to my suprise it's *almost* identical to the other Kroo case, except that the leather is a lot thinner on the bottom, so it is possible to connect the adapter to the unit while the still in the case, and without having to cut the bottom out.

Anyhow, this Kroo case is good for my needs. I don't really strap it on my belt because I don't want to appear to be a super-dork. But it works well. If you're looking for something to protect your CVM, especially the screen, this unit is pretty good--and is the best one out right now.

Digital camera Review: Nonfunctional!
Summary: 1 Stars

I got my Zen for Christmas, as like another poster said, accessories aren't plentiful for this device.

I did buy this leather case, and also the gel one. The leather case is AWFUL! In fact, the player won't even TURN ON, while I have it in the case. I have absolutely no use for this case!

However, the gel one works well, so all was not lost! :)
