Digital camera reviews of Creative Labs Armband for Zen, Zen MX (Black)Digital camera Review: Creative Zen Armband Summary: 3 Stars
I bought the armband not too long ago. Good for running, but the problem is with the buttons and screen. You can't see what songs your choosing or what button is which.
Digital camera Review: Definitely not worth your money Summary: 1 Stars
Unfortunately one of the only downsides to getting a Zen is that there are few if any accessories. And this armband is very poorly designed. Everything the other reviewers have mentioned are accurate reviews of this product.
Digital camera Review: Disappointing Summary: 2 Stars
The Zen fits in the stretchy Neoprene well but the armband is designed for Arnold Scharzennegger when he was 25- though it might have been too big for him. I had to cut and restitch mine. And there is no window for the screen, which would be useful even at a gym, jogging etc. I cut a hole in mine and singed the edges to prevent fraying. Don't know what else would substitute though.
Digital camera Review: Do Not Buy! Summary: 2 Stars
This product is a waste of excellent quality material and construction.
The reasons not to purchase this product:
1. It's nearly impossible to access the player when it's in the armband without pulling up on the ear set wire to make it easier.
2. You cannot adjust player volume or play list while in armband. You cannot turn player on or off while in armband.
3. The armband (affectionately referred to as blood pressure sleeve) slides down your arm and bangs against your forearm while running.
4. The player may slip out of the armband if you raise your arm above your head while stretching since there's no Velcro of closure on the top of the armband.
Otherwise, the construction and quality in material of the armband is outstanding.
Digital camera Review: Don't bother Summary: 1 Stars
Unless you are a runner, or working out for a very long time, it is not worth the bother of installing the player into the cuff, then plugging in the earphones at the bottom. It is easier to drop the player into a pocket without the arm band.
