Digital camera reviews of Creative Labs Armband for Zen, Zen MX (Black)Digital camera Review: This product is a waste of money Summary: 1 Stars
I found it difficult to get the Zen into this armband, and once I did, it's almost impossible to access the functions on the Zen. To top it off, it's impossible to get this armband to stay positioned on your arm unless you tighten it so much that it could pass for a tournique. Don't buy this garbage.
Digital camera Review: This thing just works Summary: 5 Stars
I don't know why so many complaints, this armband does what it claims, it allows you to safely carry your mp3 player while working out. You DO NOT need to see the screen to operate the device, just select a playlist, (or play all songs randomly) before you slip the mp3 player in and you're good to go. You can skip songs or adjust the volume easily, you don't need the screen to do that.
Digital camera Review: This thing sucks Summary: 1 Stars
I read the reviews and bought it anyways. I was thinking that not seeing the screen wasn't that big of a deal, which I still think isn't too bad, except for every once in awhile where you want to switch to a particular song or a different playlist during the workout. Also, I thought that the people saying it was hard to put on were exaggerating. They are not. Every day before I workout I turn my Zen on, put the Zen in the pouch, hook up the headphones, then wait for my husband to put the band on for me. He usually has to adjust it a few times before it's right. If it's a tiny bit too tight it cuts off circulation and if it's a tiny bit too loose it falls off. The worst part about it falling off is there's no way you can put it back on midworkout unless you stop and get help. I have tried leaning on a wall and using my teeth to put it on myself, but it fell off 2 of the 3 times I did it and I can't get the band to line up myself. Then after the workout the Zen is wet from sweat soaking into the band. I have to take out the headphones, take off the armband, then take the Zen out of the band to turn it off and let everything air out. The band is a little wide and big and not that comfortable without any elastic. Don't buy this product. Who the heck would put this on the market? They shouldn't have a job.
Digital camera Review: Very basic -- better than your pocket. Summary: 3 Stars
It is hard to put on the holder. You have to lean against something and fumble to get the right fit. Once the arm band is on, you can't do much to start, stop of adjust your Zen. Finally, if you use the hole in the bottom of the little pocket in the holder -- it's there for the power cord -- you will not be able to bend your arm at all. By using the holder with the power cord coming from the top, you can at least pause the unit, or turn it on and off. Finally, you have to stuff the rest of the power cord into your sleeve. This is not the best way to carry an MPA player while working out. But is better than nothing.
Digital camera Review: Waste of money Summary: 1 Stars
I bought this to put my Zen in. Looks good in pictures, but when you get it, you'll think differently.. It has a wide armband that velcros together. I thought maybe it would have been elastic to stay on your arm when your running. This does not. It drops down when running. I can't seem to make it fit tight enough to work.. I don't know about other folks, but I like to see the screen. This has no hole for the screen. Let me know of another MP3 player that does not have a place to see the screen.
All you get is a huge circle with ZEN on it...
Waste of my money.
I bought an ID holder in my deployed location that I use. Has elastic armback and a clear vinyl front with a velcro side to put your zen in.I trimmed a little hole for the earphones and.......Voila.......The perfect holder and it cost me $2.00..
Maybe Creative can take this hint and make a better armband..
