This is a great item, highly recommend if you want to protect you zen you get one, easy perfect fit, no problems working the keys. Although I wish when they build these products they make the keys were you can SEE them. Not to much you can say about a skin for an MP3 player, it is what it is.
The only disappointment is that the last skin I got from creative, for my Zen Vplus allowed you to attach it to an armband for working out, gardening,etc... this one doesn't. The Armband is a whole other accessory for an extra 30 bucks, which is kinda bs.
If you really need the armband attachment like I did, I suggest the other the auction site. I found a Skin (not as good as this one, in all honesty, kinda cheap and thin skin), armband, belt clip, screen protector, retractable usb connector, car charger, and electrical outlet charger for 11.49 with free shipping. Use "USB+AC+DC CHARGER+SKIN CASE COVER FOR CREATIVE ZEN X-FI" as your search and it will pop right up.

Protective silicon skin works well to protect the unit for which it was intended. All bottons line up and make it O.K. to navigate and select songs, etc. Only problem I found was that the additional thickness of the skin makes it somewhat difficult to turn the unit on and off.Digital camera Review: Essential and cheap

The cover is great. It's a very lightweight skin, but the silver plastic button covers are weird and make the buttons a little harder to push than necessary. Since there weren't any other silicone-ish skins, we purchased this one. It's great - but if there was another option without the silver plastic buttons on the cover, I would go with that option.
